Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC)
Founded in 1916, Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program, offered at over 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States, that prepares young adults to become officers in the military. In exchange for a paid college education (upon meeting specific criteria determined by the appropriate branch) cadets commit to serve in the military after graduation, guaranteeing a post-college career.
